Robert F. Allen has worked in retail, food service, and the financial industry prior to publishing his first novel, Redemption Road. He has written many short stories over the years, as well as poetry. Robert currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and children. He is an avid reader of multiple genres, but horror remains his favorite. His influences include Jack Ketchum, Clive Barker, Bentley Little, Dean R. Koontz, and a vast assortment of other talented writers. Many of his novels and short stories are set in the fictional California towns of Lost Oaks and Pikes Valley.
